Curators

Curators are a vital component of the MxAgent network, serving as the connoisseurs of AI Agents. Their primary role is to identify and support high-quality AI Agents, ensuring that the network is populated with effective and reliable agents that can provide value to users.

Incentive Structure

Curators are incentivized through curation shares, which entitle them to a percentage of all future Usage Fees generated by the AI Agents they curate. This mechanism encourages Curators to seek out and endorse agents that they believe will be successful and widely used within the network.

The Curating Process

The process of curating involves signaling AGENT tokens on high-quality AI Agents. While any network participant can assume the role of a Curator, it is often the developers of the AI Agents who become the first Curators. This is because developers have a vested interest in the deployment and success of their agents.

Curation Tax Implications

Curators are subject to a 1% curation tax when they curate a new agent. This tax is burned, effectively reducing the supply of AGENT tokens. The curation tax serves as a mechanism to ensure that only serious and committed Curators contribute to the network, thereby maintaining the quality and integrity of the AI Agents curated.
